My mom is currently in a nursing home. She suffers from severe exhaustion to the point where she refuses to wake up to feed herself or be fed. She was placed in the nursing/ rehab home so she can be monitored and feed as required by her MD. The home however has neglected to do so. She has been in there since October 2007. When she went in she weighed 187. She currently weighs 98lbs. I want to know if I can go after the nursing home for neglecting to adhere to the MD directions. They have documented in their records that they neglect to bring my mom down to eat and allowed her to stay in bed sleeping for a week on several occasions. She has medical complications derived from lack of nurishment.
