Do I need a lawyer?

From: Chloe
Category: Car Accidents

I was in a car accident in New York City which from my understanding is a no fault state. The NYPD on the scene cited them as being at fault 100%. I woke up in a lot of pain and went to the ER. It's been about 2 days and I'm still in pain. After pain doctor examined me they concluded I have a sprain of ligaments of lumbar spine. I was given meds and told to go to physical therapy. Is it worth getting a lawyer? I don't know about the damages to my car yet but, there is a very good chance it's totaled . There insurance is asking me to sign paperwork, I don't know if I should or ask a lawyer first? Help.

It's a good thing you've reached out. Never ever , ever, sign anything the other guys insurance asks you to sign. The only thing you should say to them  is "SPEAK TO MY LAWYER!". You probably have a case. They objective of most insurance adjustors is to right you a small check in exchange for a release which would FOREVER stop you from bringing a claim. Such sneaky tactics make it seem like they’re just giving you some monies “for your trouble.” Speak to a car accident attorney. We offer FREE ADVICE. Paul Ajlouny. 1-800-535-5029
