Each morning before driving up to our point on the bridge we must check in our ID's with the TBTA. A engineer from the Liro Group skipped the check-in with a subcontractor and snuck in behind our line of vehicles while we were driving up the bridge. The subcontractor slammed into us causing injuries. Can the engineer be held liable as well as the subcontractor?
Rear-end collisions are the most common types of auto accident in New York. If your vehicle was struck from behind by another vehicle, the resulting accident is nearly always the fault of the driver's who hit you from behind. In this circumstance was the vehicle a company truck? It's neither here nor there -- No your fault and someone is responsible. With more facts to the events that led to the accident we would be able to tell you who is liable. But rest assured.. you are not.
